Hello, I’m Nilde, born and raised in the north of Brazil, where I grew up under the loving care of my grandmother alongside my three sisters. With our mixed heritage—a mother with African roots and a father with a European background—our hair care rituals became a cherished part of our lives, with my grandmother dedicating weekends to nurturing our locks. I vividly remember those Saturday afternoons, the scent of coconut shampoo filling the air as we prepared for church on Sundays, my hair strong, shiny, and full—so much that it felt like a crown. 

However, as I grew older, hormones, changes in water, and exposure to chemicals took their toll on my once-healthy hair, and as my priorities shifted, I began neglecting the care my hair deserved.
